A Nigerian man identified as @Prince-dc21 on X (formely Twitter), has recounted a 2022 incident that led him to quit attending church.
In the widely circulated post, the man disclosed the identity of the church he worshipped before the incident.

According to him , he worshipped at Omega Ministry, where the incident unfolded during a sermon.
During the sermon, the clergyman spoke about poverty and singled him out as an example in front of the congregation.
As a result of the incident, he stopped attending church.

Meanwhile, the post has drawn reactions, with widespread condemnation of the incident.
