A Nigerian man has shared a shocking encounter after returning home to find his roommate’s girlfriend crying over a positive pregnancy test.
The man, identified by his X handle as @Georgewove01, shared the story on X, formerly Twitter.
‘My Roommate Told Me His Girlfriend Was Coming Over’
According to him, his roommate informed him that his girlfriend was coming over, prompting him to leave the house so the couple could have some privacy.
He wrote:
“My roommate told me his girlfriend was coming over. left the house so they could have privacy.
“Two hours later, he called me. ‘Bro, come back quickly.’”
The man said he initially assumed the couple had gotten into an argument.
“I thought they had fought. When I entered the room, his girlfriend was crying. My roommate was standing beside her with a pregnancy test.”
‘The Baby Isn’t His’
He said he immediately assumed the pregnancy test was good news and began congratulating the couple.
However, the situation took an unexpected turn when the woman revealed that the pregnancy did not belong to his roommate.
“I started congratulating them. Then the girl looked at me and said: ‘The baby isn’t his.’”
The man said the revelation left everyone in the room completely silent.
His post has since sparked reactions on X, with social media users commenting on the unexpected revelation and the dramatic turn of events.
