A Nigerian man identified as @Zaddy-of-Lagos on X (formerly Twitter) has detailed his encounter with National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
In a widely circulated post, he disclosed that Peter Obi had his face covered with a COVID-19 mask.
Man’s Flight Encounter With Peter Obi
According to the X user, he boarded economy class, unaware he was speaking with Peter Obi due to the face mask.
During the conversation, they spoke about his job working at the bank.
Meanwhile, he realized he had been speaking with Peter Obi after the politician opened his mask to drink water, leaving him stunned.
Flight Touches Down In Owerri
According to him, after the flight landed in Owerri, he was taken for Peter Obi’s aide, probably due to his outfit.
However, Peter Obi refused to hand over his nylon bag and stepped into his Prado.
As the vehicle sped off, he prayed for the presidential candidate’s safety, citing his humility.
”He continued to refuse to let me or anyone hold his carryon bag, walked to his Prado and they drove off.As he drove off, I silently prayed for his safety cause I couldn’t understand how a former VP candidate at the time was so humble“, He added.
