The Season 23 premiere, which aired Oct. 15, picked up after the devastating Royer Bridge collapse, with Meredith Grey and Nick Marsh engaged and Owen Hunt and Teddy Altman leaving for Paris. Fans said goodbye to Dr. Hunt (Kevin McKidd) and Dr. Altman (Kim Raver) during the Season 22 finale, but Ellen Pompeo returns alongside fellow original cast members, Chandra Wilson and James Pickens Jr. The new season will see James Wolk joining the cast in a recurring role as Dr. Seth Norton and Schitt’s Creek alum Sarah Levy portraying a pregnant patient.
