What’s more terrifying than a beloved celeb getting voted off of Dancing With the Stars?
How about two couples being sent to the Season 35 graveyard?
Yes, because of the sentimental nature of last week’s Dedication Night, Tuesday’s horror movie-themed episode featured a rare double elimination.

Tyler Cameron and Jackson Olson were both sent home in a move that didn’t exactly shock most viewers.
The spooky theme gave the remaining celebrities a chance to lean into the thrills on the ballroom floor.
Cameron had been on the bubble all season
“Talk about a jump-scare,” E! News wrote of the outcome, noting that the frights weren’t limited to the theme.
During Dedication Night, every celebrity contestant was marked safe and nobody went home.
Because of that, the scores the couples earned on Horror Movie Night were combined with their earlier marks to decide who would stay and who would go.
In other words, the safe week only delayed the bad news, and it landed on two celebrities at once.
Cameron and Olson are now the latest stars to exit Season 35, which has steadily thinned out its field since premiering this fall.
With both stars gone, the competition has reached a new stage.
Those eight pairs will return to the ballroom next week as the race for the Mirrorball Trophy continues.
And how did social media react?
Well, the Tyler elimination was widely approved, but viewers were much more split on the decision to send Jackson back to the dugout.
“What an absolute joke that Julia Stiles & Tatyana Ali are moving on to next week, but Jackson Olson is gone,” wrote one X user.
“Jackson we are so unbelievably proud of you. What a RUN!!!!” a second added.
“So sad that Jackson Olson is out on Dancing With The Stars. I thought he was improving and he would have done wonders on Disney Night. You will be missed on the dance floor,” a third chimed in.
Yes, next week, the spookiness gives way to a much more wholesome vibe as the eight remaining celebs compete on Disney Night.
As always, we’ll have full coverage, including the inevitable outraged fan reactions.
