A Nigerian man identified as @EbukaTBH on X (formerly Twitter) has recounted his encounter with a female passenger during a bus trip.
According to the X user, the trip cost ₦300, whereas he gave the conductor ₦500 and was awaiting ₦200 change.
Man’s Encounter During Bus Trip
Upon arrival at his stop, he requested his change from the conductor, who claimed that there was no change.
During their conversation, a woman who sat beside him urged him to let go of the change.
However, he responded by asking her, “Since it’s just ₦200, can you give me?” leaving the conductor bursting into laughter.
Afterwards, he received his change before alighting from the commercial vehicle.

Meanwhile, the tweet, which has gone viral online, has drawn reactions from X users weighing in on the man’s ordeal.

Obiana wrote, “Conductors collect big notes first then suddenly I no get change. You asked before entering. You were right to stand till her gave you your change”.
Enewa Blessing added, “That’s how they behave. They will tell you they have change and as soon as you enter the bus you will begin to hear stories and there are those Oversabi women on the bus that like to say what they are not asked”.
